Day 4 Sneak Peek Revealed - Best Friends

Welcome to another revealing.  If you missed, I posted 10 days of sneak peeks on Facebook and Instagram.  Now I can with you on the blog and give you all the details to make your own.

 

This cartridge features an overlay for each key. Some of them are perfect for making stencils. I am going to post a stencil tutorial soon so you can make your own. I used homemade embossing paste with the paw print stencil. There are three dogs to choose from, but I thought this one looked a little more like Bonnie.
I used liquid glass to adhere the dog onto the embossing paste. You need a strong glue to stick to it. The stamped image is one of the included stamps that are featured in the Cricut bundle. I used image #M411E2F (dog) and #M418707 (paw print background)

Day 3 Sneak Peek Revealed - You Are The Shit

Welcome to another revealing. I did 10 days of sneak peeks before the Artistry cartridge came out. If you missed them, I am now posting all of them plus all the details here on my blog.

This was day 3 sneak peek.

When I was going through the handbook, looking at all the fun images, I came across whip cream that goes on the coffee cup. But all I saw was poo. So I just had to make this card. I have a twisted mind and find a lot of things humorous.

Someone mentioned using glitter paper to make this, which makes this even funnier to me. All I could think of was the pony toy that pooped glitter. I didn't have brown glitter paper, so I made this using shimmer trim to make a sheet of glitter. I used glitter paper custom setting and it cut perfect. There are lines that are visible when you use shimmer trim, but I took a brown marker and went over those lines and now you can't even tell. 

I used image #M411F6E (whip cream) and Artistry font.

Day 2 Sneak Peek Revealed - Magic

If you have not been following me on Instagram or Facebook, you missed a 10 sneak peeks of the new Artistry cartridge. I can finally post them here on the blog. And you can find out how I made them.

Here was day 2 sneak peek.

Looking through the booklet, I first saw these glasses. I immediately thought of Harry Potter. No, I am not a fan, but had a few friends who are fans. Some are even uber fans.
Then I found the lightning bolt and knew I had to make a card.

I remembered one of the minimalist poster for Harry Potter, which was just the glasses and the lightning bolt.  I searched so I could show you.

If you haven't seen these type of posters, check them out {here}. I made some posters for my cousin using the ones for Star Wars.

I wanted the magic to stand out more, so I made it larger than the rest of the sentiment. I also cut it out of glitter paper. I love how this cuts in the Explore.

The font is a Harry Potter font I downloaded.  Uses image #M410290 (glasses) and #M40FBA7 (lightning bolt)

Birthday Bash at Heart 2 Heart

 Welcome to this weeks challenge at {Heart 2 Heart}

It's a birthday bash. So lets see your birthday inspired projects. You can never have enough birthday cards. And admit it, you have tons a birthday pictures that need to be scrapbooked.

We got Bonnie back in 2010. I was back home in Michigan when Matt got her. One of his coworkers gave her to us. She is a little tough to handle if you don't become the alpha. She turned 3 and I wanted to give her something special. She had a sad and painful past and I don't think anyone has done something like this for her before. So I baked her a pet friendly cake. She wasn't sure about it at first. But once she figured that it was hers, she devoured it.  I love these pictures. Her little birthday hat i made for her. That was some bone scrapbook paper from back in the 90's. There was no way that was going to end up in a scrapbook anymore. So I made into a hat.

I used image #M416F40 for the banner and attached oh happy day that used the Artistry font to make my title block. The bubble, #M413043, is also from the Artistry cartridge.

Framed Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop

Welcome to this months blog hop. We are featuring  Framed. This stamp set is only available during August.

This idea may have come from another artist, or maybe I came up with it. I can't really remember. 
There was supposed to be a third monster, but he flew away when the stamp block hit him and I can't find him anywhere. Moved everything, cleaned to the minimum and still is missing. 

I stamped the frame onto a full adhesive post it note and cut it out so I could mask it to look a window the monsters are peeking through. 

 I also used the stamp of the month on these sneak peek artwork I was posting as a countdown.
