Welcome to this months sotm blog hop

Welcome to this months sotm blog hop.  You should be arriving from {Wendy Coffman}.
Next in the hop is { Pamela Ellison}.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the list of the hop at {Melinda Everitt}blog.

So I was working along on my card, and I lost the sentiment.  It was on my desk and now it's not. This is the second stamp I have lost in a week.  I know it's here somewhere, but the only bad thing about clear stamps is the fact they are clear.  It is nearly impossible to find them, especially if it stuck to the bottom of something.  It was a cute Christmas card with the sentiment merry and bright. I have two other stamps that have that sentiment, but they are too large for my card.  Ahhhh.  Once I find the stamp, I will finish the card and post it.  I might have to do a detail cleaning to find it, which will have to wait till my craft fair is done.  I have a lot of tutus to make.
So until my art is posted, check out the rest of the artwork.  Next in the hop is { Pamela Ellison}.

Oct sotm - scandanavian wishes

Welcome to this months stamp of the month blog hop.  You should be coming from { Lalia Harris }. Next in this hop is { Sarita Schraeder }.

This stamp set is made for Christmas.  I made this simple card using Frosted papers.  The snowflake stamps are stamped with versamark.  You may be asking, "I didn't see these stamps in the book"  They aren't.  But they are still available.  They are a cricut coordinating stamp set, which are always available.  The large snowflake is from the new Artbooking cart.  This cart can be used for cards as well as scrapbooking and mini books.  I made sure to use the real dial size when cutting the snowflake.  I decided to make the simple card a little more with sparkles.  I believe the brad in the center of the snowflake is retired.  But sometimes you need to use up your stash.

This next card went to another holiday.  I saw the bird and thought valentine bird.  I masked the leaf the bird was holding with washi tape.  you can use washi tape for some many things and masking is a great one because of the low tack the tape.  I used a small heart from babycakes wotg.  Love is stamped with our new E sized stamps.  This was going to be a one layer card, but kept smudging the card.  The banner covers up the smudges.  Note : when stamping, have some sort of wet wipes around to clean your hands to avoid smudges.
I hope you enjoyed this showcase of scandanavian wishes.  To purchase your own, check out my website at nikkageers.ctmh.com.  This stamp is $5 when you purchase $50.
