Splat! over at Heart 2 Heart

Welcome to this weeks challenge over at {Heart 2 Heart}

Splat is our challenge this week. 

 

I have been in a black hole with crafting lately. Between starting a new job, trying to get college up and running, and my hubby having surgery, life has been crazy. And it has been taxing on my crafting brain. My first idea fell flat. I had this watercolor piece for the {Hello Life Blog Hop} that never made it in the post.

This was supposed to be part of a scrapbook, and maybe will be added to one, but this is what I have done. This was also my third attempt of the watercolor. I was having a hard time getting it to look right. I love adding the black splats to watercolor.

The title is from one of our new products, clear overlay. This pack is gold and silver. They go over pictures to add a quick title. This one is actually a 4 x 6. I cut it down and rounded the edges. Because it is clear, it is hard to glue down. I used liquid glass under the gold title to hid the glue.
