This is one of our 6 x 6 canvas'. I painted it yellow with white acrylic paint dyed with honey reinker. The texture on the canvas is made using this technique. I cut the overlay from pg 62 of the Artbooking cartridge at 6 in. Then I used it as a stencil with texture paste, I had MS white texture paste. As a wonderful mistake, it dried with a yellow tint to it. I love it. But it takes forever to dry. The paper is from babycakes. I wanted the grey banner to be vellum, but I didn't have any. I was going to buy some, but I stopped at best buy first and got so ticked at them that I forgot to go next door to michaels and buy some. That's a whole other story. A trick to get the washi tape to stay on the canvas, I used liquid glass. It's a little hard to tell in the pic, but I scattered a few bitty sparkles inbetween the texture. Another mistake I made, not so lucky on this one, was I forgot to double check where the hanger was before I added the paste. Now I have to move the hanger, looks easy enough to do.
I hope you enjoyed this project and all the rest you will see on this hop.
