JAI23 Pattern paper challenge entry
This is my entry for Just Add Ink Pattern Paper Challenge. Everything is pattern paper cept the cardstock and the stamp "Dream". I love Close to my Heart B&T Duos cause they made this so easy. All the paper is from one line and matches. I could have easily added from other paper lines, but I like how this turned out.

Weekend Challege # 3
This is a mirror image of the sketch. My punctuation is the ampersand. I made the sketch into a 6x6 layout. There is hidden journaling behind the photo. The ampersand has double duty. It is part of the subtitle and is the pull tag for the journaling.

June Blog Hop - Just Blooms
This months Close To My Heart Blog Hop is featuring are Just Blooms Paper Flowers. I never use to use flowers on my cards and layouts, but these have changed my mind. You can easily alter them to fit your needs.
This card I used the Just Blooms as snowflakes. I even stamped snowflakes on them. It is so easy to stamp on these flowers to make them fit.
This is an art piece I did. You can easily dye your flowers with an inkpad and sponge, or use a reinker for a darker color as I did below. You can also layer them on top of other paper flowers.
Grouping flowers makes accessory. You can also decorate the center of the flower with brads or bling. I made the larger flower with a border punch. and then placed a dyed Just Bloom on top.

detail shot I died the ribbon with Desert Sand ink. I also used irresistable as a template for the large flower under the Just Blooms and for the bracket. I also used my faux brads next to the pics, I love using those. I always have brads that match that way. (for this technique, go here.)
